CARCO CONTROL MODULE
Updated Part number from 102501 and CAT# 163-3187 / 332-2448 / 185-2054. Commonly used on CAT PA55, PA56, Carco 50B, and 70A model winches. The module is normally located inside the tractor under the joystick on older installations, or mounted on the winch for later model winches. Internally this is a hard programmed circuit board containing the required codes for winch function. These are required for the CARCO electronic PTO winches to function. If your winch suddenly stops working, and all the wiring is in good condition, it's likely that water, condensation, vibration, or dirt has damaged the internal circuit board and replacement of the module is often required to regain winch function.
