Allied W5C has been in production for decades. Originally designed with simple push/pull cable controls for the operator. This winch has been upgraded with optional electronic valve and joystick for precision line control. Includes everything you need to install; drop box, brackets, PTO, control cables, and control levers.
The D6N is can be a tricky installation for any winch compared to other tractor models. No matter which winch model you choose be aware that many of the early production units have a filter re-location kit that is required for installation of a winch to allow enough clearance. Since The D6N was manufactured in several CAT factories around the world it's difficult to keep the serial number breaks clear for which dozers need the re-location kit and which ones didn't. In addition, CAT has several production configurations including the "winch ready" package that doesn't really mean your winch is ready to accept a winch. When CAT went to a T4i and T4F engine the installation for the computer winch module changed along with the wiring for Carco, and the Allied installation requires operator CAB console modification for the joystick.
