There has been an upgrade to  the Friction, Separator Disc, Brake assemblies. We recommend
that the disc be changed as a set for the assembly you are servicing.
Mixing of early version and later style discs is not recommended.
The number of Friction Discs needed depends on the gear ratio of your winch. Separator Plates
are then added or subtracted to maintain the proper air gap in the assembly. Detailed drawings are
included with the Kit P/N’s listed below.

• All winches for crawler tractor and dozers use Kit P/N 2303047W.
• Skidder winches (Except Ranger H67) use Kit P/N 2303049W.
• Winches for H67 Ranger Skidders use P/N 2303050W.
